Dr. Gladys Weng is an Internal Medicine doctor at the Live Oak Health Partners Primary Care clinic in San Marcos, Texas.

Dr. Weng has experience treating a variety of conditions including:


• Internal Medicine

• Geriatric Care

• Management of chronic illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, cholesterol, allergies, osteoporosis, low thyroid and others


She attended medical school at University of North Texas Health Science Center of Osteopathic Medicine and received her DO degree in 1998.

She completed her residency in Internal Medicine with St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem, PA. Dr. Weng practiced as an Internal Medicine Physician in the greater New York metropolitan area for several years before she joined us here in Texas in 2005.


Dr. Weng is also a strong advocate for community health and patient health education and patient self-awareness. She believes that every patient should have a patient-centered medical partner to manage their health care needs. Dr. Weng explains, “A well-informed patient is a healthier patient.”
 She is involved in helping to implement Health Information Technology/Electronic Health Records technologies at Live Oak Health Partners and in the San Marcos medical community.
