About Dr. DePagter
Dr. DePagter is originally from the Rio Grande Valley. A recipient of the Tomas Rivera Scholarship for Latino Students, she attended Texas State University San Marcos with the original intent to study music. After a family member was affected by coronary artery disease, she changed to a pre-medical emphasis and went on to finish an undergraduate degree in biology. Dr. DePagter has a medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center and completed a combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the Scott & White Memorial Hospital. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her husband and their twin children.
